Bathroom needed significant attention!!! Cleaning practices for towels should be reevaluated, stained linens create an unsettling experience!!! Consider better window treatments to block the light effectively!!!

The location was convenient for exploring Traverse City.
Our stay was a nightmare. The lack of proper heating left us freezing all night, as we were given only one thin, threadbare blanket, while the mattress was uncomfortably hard. On top of that, the bathroom was in dire need of attention, with stains everywhere, making it utterly unpleasant to use.

The Grand Traverse Motel surprised me with its cleanliness and updated features. The room felt spacious, with a lovely king-size bed and a big-screen TV that made winding down at night easy. A nice touch was the breakfast snacks and drinks in the lobby, making mornings effortless. I also appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave, perfect for storing snacks. The location was ideal, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. However, the blinds were not very effective at blocking sunlight early in the morning, and the bathroom remodel could use more attention. The bed frame had a noticeable issue, causing it to dip on one side, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Despite these shortcomings, the motel was a solid budget-friendly option.

It was just a balanced option for a short weekend trip in Traverse City with extraordinarily good value for money. The room I stayed in was clean and had a warm atmosphere, which made me feel comfortable quickly. Don't expect too many frills. make sure to bring your own coffee, as there weren’t any in the room.

Positive, This place exceeded my expectations! I stayed for 3 nights in a Queen Room (upper) and found the room clean and spacious. They provided a tv, a small fridge, and a microwave, which were super handy. Breakfast options like yogurt and oatmeal were a nice touch. Definitely a great value for the money! 😊

Super clean room with a big king size bed and bright bathroom. Loved the mini fridge and microwave. they were super handy. The layout felt spacious. The big screen TV was great for winding down. The free breakfast snacks in the lobby were a nice surprise too. Only downside was the blinds that didn’t block sunlight well, and parking was a bit cramped with small spaces.

nice stay but some improvements needed
The location was perfect for our needs, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Everything in our room felt very fresh and bright, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. The small refrigerator was a great plus, keeping our drinks cold and snacks handy throughout our stay. I also appreciated the clarity in communication about breakfast hours, helping us plan our mornings better.
The bathroom can use some attention to detail, especially with the window treatments not effectively blocking out light.

The motel's location is superb for exploring the area, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The room was very bright and clean, equipped with a working mini-fridge and decent coffee options. However, there was no elevator to the upper floor, which might be a concern for some.
